NEWS CENTER - Women celebrate March 8, International Women's Day in Cizîr, Kobanê and Efrîn Cantons with activities.

TIRBESPIYÊ

Women held a meeting in Kongreya Star, Yekta Herekol Culture and Arts Academy related to March 8, International Women's Day. Many Rojava women participated in the meeting. Dîlan Engîzek, member of Kongreya Star Coordination, made a speech in the meeting. Dîlan stated that women's role is determinative in building a democratic society and democratic nation. She also called on all women to rise their organization.

QAMIŞLO

Members of the National Council of Arab women and women representatives from the Democratic Union Party (PYD) visited the office of the Free Syrian Women's Council. They celebrated all resister women's March 8.

GIRKÊ LEGÊ

Girkê Legê Female members of the Public Council opened an authentic women's clothing store in the Kîşkê village. Tens of women participated in the opening.

AMÛDÊ

Women organized activities related to March 8, International Women's Day in the Amûdê town.A national clothes women's cloting store was opened in Amûdê by the Public Council.

KOBANÊ

Kongreya Star organized a meeting in the Sirrin town related to March 8, International Women's Day. Felek Yusuf, one of executives of Kongreya Star, wished a happy March 8, International Women's Day to all women who resist in North Kurdistan, and other parts of Kurdistan, including the Women's Defense Organization (YPS-JIN), the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) and Sirrin women.

EFRÎN

Women organized activities in the center of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) in Efrîn related to March 8, International Women's Day. Rojda Mehemed, one of the commanders of YPJ, wished a happy March 8 to all women. After the speeches, women continued to celebrate March 8 with several activities.
