DÊRIK - The Women's Protection Units (YPJ) fighters in Kobanê Canton rescued 19 Êzidî women and children from Daesh gangs near Rakka city. They took them to Dêrîk Newroz Êzidî camp.

The Women's Protection Units (YPJ) fighters in Kobanê rescued19 Êzidî women and children from Daesh gangs near Rakka city. Five women and 14 children were taken to Dêrîk Êzidî camp. Êzidî Women Assembly and Êzidî Constituent Assembly met the YPJ fighters and Êzidî people in Newroz camp. Sêal Adar, one of the commanders of YPJ, stated that hundrends of Êzidî people have been saved from Daesh gangs until now. She also gave her word to save all people who have been abducted from Shengal.

Kemal Murad, a member of the Êzidî Constituent Assembly and Şemê Remo, a member of the Êzidî Women Assembly, expressed their gratitude to the YPJ fighters.
