ANKARA - Kızılay which is the heart of Ankara is turned round with white canvases. While the roads which go to Kızılay Square have been closed to traffic, the three explosions have happened in five months caused a major fear and insecurity in people. Ankara has turned into the silent after the bombing last night at 18:45 in Kızılay Square. One public bus and many cars were burnt in the bomb attack which was happened in the side of the station of Bakanlıklar in front of the boulevard's Güven Park side. The citizens, who were in the station, buses and cars, lost their lives and many wounded. The place, where explosion happened, is close to Çevik Kuvvet Police, the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs. Meanwhile, there are several stations where people can get buses to Middle East Technical University, Dikmen and Ayrancı.

The security cordon, which was roped in Ankara 30 minutes after the blast, has continues with closing of all streets and main roads which are in the route of Kızılay Square.The entrances of Kızılay subway to Kızılay Crossroad, Akay Crossroad, Atatürk Boulevard, Yüksel Street, GAMA Work Centre and YKM are closed to traffic. Journalists are blocked for taking pictures while the crime scene covered by the white canvases. Journalists can only take pictures behind the police barriers in the entrance of subway.

Many points of the town have been demolished, not only blast area. Bus stations, houses and work places in Atatürk Boulevard's Parliament route, Yüksel Street and Karanfil Street have been damaged.The broken glass pieces injured the citizens.

According to the authorities, the explosion left 37 people died, 71 wounded, including 15 badly wounded. Last night, Ankara Medical Chamber made a statement. According to this statement, 150 wounded were carried to hospitals by 112 ambulances.

The most crowded square and streets of Ankara are in the silence now. Roads and streets are fully empty. The shutters have been taken down in the Square.The three bomb attacks in five months are caused huge fear and insecurity in people.
