AMED – Yesterday night, young people went to streets in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır to protest the blockade in Sur. State forces attacked them. Two people were killed in the attacks. The name of one of two people has been identified. His name is Hüseyin Hüseyinoğlu. Meanwhile, the clashes have continued in the district. Three people have been wounded in besieged neighborhood Kaynartepe.

Youths went out to streets in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır to protest the ongoing blockade in the Sur district. State forces opened fire on them. Two people were killed due to the gunfire. Their bodies were taken to Selahattin Eyyubi State Hospital’s morgue. One of two bodies has been identified. His name is Hüseyin Hüseyinoğlu (22).

Muhammet Hüseyinoğlu was with his nephew Hüseyin Hüseyinoğlu in their car. Muhammet said that a bullet hit Hüseyin while Muhammet drove on the road of Göçmenler Avenue.

Meanwhile, three young people have been wounded a result of random gunfire by state forces in the Kaynartepe neighborhood of Bağlar. The wounded were taken to Sultan Hospital by the citizens. Two people have been seriously wounded so they were transferred to another hospital.

The resistence of the people has continued with the barricades built in the neighborhood.
