ŞIRNEX/MÊRDÎN - As state forces have continued to shell the besieged city of Şırnak's center, they have continued their artillery and mortar attacks on the Nusaybin district of Mardin.
State forces have continued to shell the Yeşilyurt, Gazipaşa, İsmetpaşa, Dicle and Bahçelievler neighborhoods of Şırnak. The violent clashes have continued in Yeşilyurt neighborhood since 24-hour curfew was declared in the city.

Meanwhile, an elderly couple, who live in Vakıfkent neighborhood where there isn't barricades and trenches, have been stucked in their home. They called the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) MP Leyla Birlik. They told her that they were stucked in their home and they didn't have water, electricity and food. The couple asked for help from her to get out from there. Leyla Birlik reported that to police station. However, they replied her by "This neighborhood isn't in our control. They must get out from there. We cannot do anything."

As the attacks have continued in neighborhoods of Şırnak, state forces conducted raids on homes and they arrested Dêrgul Municipality co-chairs Mehmet Demir and Özlem Kutlu, the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) city co-chairs Dursun Çakır and Azya Durak, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) city co-chair Ekrem Güler, City Council members İbrahim Kıraç, Hamit Ayan ve Çetin Güngör, DBP city administrators Emin Güler, Adnan Ayan, Abidin Durak, Hacı Durak, Hamit Sirek, Sait Kıraç, Arafat Güler, Halil Aykaç and Ertaç Sedat.

Martial law under the name "curfew"has entered in the fifth day in the Nusybin district of Mardin. The attacks on neighborhoods have continued in the town. State forces have continued their artillery and mortar attacks on the neighborhoods of Nusaybin. Smoke rises from the neighborhoods.
