MÊRDÎN - Civil Defense Unit (YPS) and Women's Civil Defense Unit (YPS-JIN) forces have resisted against state forces' blockade, which has continued for eight days in the Nusaybin district of Mardin. The YPS and YPS-JIN forces lighted the fire of Newroz.

The resistance has been under heavy attacks for eight days in the Nusaybin district of Mardin. Civil Defense Unit (YPS) and Women's Civil Defense Unit (YPS-JIN) forces lighted the fire of Newroz in the town. Civilians and the YPS and YPS-JIN forces celebrated Newroz in Nusaybin where has been struck with mortar fire, bombs and artillery ammunition by state forces. The YPS and YPS-JIN forces danced around the fire of Newroz and they singed the songs of resistance.
