ŞIRNEX - Final Newroz would be held in Cizre. The people began to gather in the town. After the statement in front of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) office, the people began to march towards to the center of Cizre due to the state forces' blockade and prevention. State forces attacked the people with armored vehicles. Cizre people walked all over the armored vehicles and shouted the slogan such as "Murderer state will account".

The siege has entered in the 100th day in the Cizre district of Şırnak. The people gathered in front of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) office for Final Newroz despite the bans. A delegation of co-chairs of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Society Congress (DTK) and co-spokespersons of the Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK) departed from Diyarbakır to Cizre to attend the Final Newroz. The delegation was stopped before arriving to İdil district of Şırnak by state forces. The people who gathered in fron of the DBP office waited the delegation in front of DBP office by shouting the slogans. State forces blockaded them with armored vehicles TOMA (Intervention Vehicle to Social Events).

Women wore the local clothes and children carried pennants with colors of yellow, red and green. After the delegation was stopped from entering the town, the people, including the HDP MPs Faysal Sarıyıldız, Bedia Özgökçe, Hüda Kaya, Mehmet Ali Arslan and Besime Konca made a press statement. The statement reads, "Newroz is arrival of spring. Spring is re-emergence of nature. Cizre and Kurdish people will be re-emergence together like nature."

After the statement, the people began to shout the slogans such as "Öcalan" (Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of PKK), "PKK is people, people are here", "Long live the resistance of Cizre", "Martyrs are immortal" and "Murderer state will account". As the HDP MPs talked to state forces, the people began to march towards to the center of town. They broke the blockade of state forces. The people reached to Dörtyol Junction. State forces blockaded the people again and they attacked the mass with tear gas and water cannon.

The people continued to march despite the blockade and attacks. State forces have continued to attack the people.
