Feride Eralp, an activist from the Women's Initiative for Peace, is one of these women. Feride said that she had come to Cizre with a group of women after nine-day curfew had been lifted in Cizre. (The fisrt curfew in Cizre was declared on September 4 and it continued for nine days). Feride said, "We stayed with some women in the Cudi neighborhood. The people, who hosted us before, haven't have homes now. All their homes have been demolished. Our responsibility is to be here and work to reconstruction of Cizre. Our duty is to package the dry food now and then we can paint the houses if needed. I am here to do these. All of us are against this war and savagery. Many volunteers went to Suruç during Kobane prosess. They must come to here, too. Everybody must be part of the solidarity in Cizre."
