NEWS CENTER- Second Kurdish Theatre Festival will be held in Cizîr Canton by TEV-ÇAND in Rojava.

The second Kurdish Theatre Festival will be held this year by The Mesopotamian Movement for Democratic Culture and Art in Europe (TEV-ÇAND). The Festival will be held in Cizîr Canton. Totally 16 theatre plays applied for the festival. One of them is from Kobanê, 15 of them are from Cizîr. The motto of festival is: A free life is building on the theater scene. The theatre plays will meet art lovers on March 27.

The festival is held on the March 27 every year, the day of Kurdish theater artist Erdoğan Kahraman (le nom de guerre Yekta Herekol) died and the World Theatre Day. The festival attracts intensive attention this year.
