KOBANÊ/TIL TEMIR- Rojava women respond to the declaration of federation with great happiness. Women stated that all crises in Syria will be overcome in federation system. They said they will play an active role to form the federal system.

In the town of Rmeilan, about 200 delegates from various organizations of Syrian Kurds, Assyrians, Arabs, Turkomans and Armenians announced on March 17 the establishment of the Federation of North Syria. After the declaration of federation, Kurds have taken to streets to show their supports. The decision of federation took an important place in the international community. We took Rojava women's opinion about the decision of the federation. Rewşen Hacim, member of the Young Women's Unity in Kobanê Canton, said, "We respond to the decision of federation with great happiness. This decision is a right decision to solve the crises in Syria. Federal system unites all people and it is a hope to overcome the crises. This step is important for all people living in Syria.

"Women assumed the role of leadership in the revolution; they will play an active role to form the federal system, too. Women work in many fields in Rojava. We know that the society cannot be liberated without the liberation of women. A solution without women hasn't any chance of success. So, we will be strong-willed people by being in the all fields of life."

Fatma Xelil, member of the Young Women Unity, pointed out the importance of the federation for the unity of the people. She said, "We, as the people in Syria, want to take our own decisions for ourselves. The Federal system doesn't separate the people; on the contrary, it unites the people. Everyone must support the decision of federation. All crises in Syria can be overcome by a federal system. We want to build our future by ourselves."

Botan Kemal from management of Self-Defense Force, talked about the decision of the federation. She said, "Federal system saves the country to be crashed and it is a great step for the freedom of the people. Everyone will live with their culture and language. Everyone must support this."
