TIL TEMIR - Till Temir women reacted to the Kurdistan Democratic Pary (KDP) who has closed the Sêmalka Border Gate. Women said that the Gate was closed on the day of declaration of federation and that's thought-provoking. Women said that they would continue to fight against such practices.

Sêmalka Border Gate is located between North Kurdistan and Rojava. It was closed to normal and trade transition on March 16 by the Kurdistan Democratic Pary (KDP). Women, who live in the Til Temir city of Cizîr Canton, reacted to the closure of the border gate. Women stated that the KDP always acts in their own interests and they called on everyone to develop an attitude towards the KDP. Fatma Mihemed, one of the women, condemned the KDP by saying, "Closing the border on the day of declaration of federation is thought-provoking. As Rojava women, we condemn strongly the KDP. We must raise our struggle against such methods which nurture enmity towards Kurds."

Gülistan Tahir, another woman in Til Temir, said that the decision over the closure the Sêmalka Border Gate isn't a right decision. Gülistan said, "We condemn such decisions which don't serve Kurdish people's own interests. We hope that our people in the South express their reaction to the KDP's wrong approach. We will continue our struggle against such practices. Our people will overcome all sorts of adversities with the spirit of unity and solidarity."
