MÊRDÎN/ŞIRNEX - As genocidal attacks have continued in the Nusaybin district of Mardin and the center of Şırnak, snipers have been positioned on the high buildings in Şırnak.

Special Forces continued to attack the Nusaybin district of Mardin nonstop nightlong. Special forces, who haven't entered six neighborhoods for 13 days, have shelled the houses and demolished them. A violent explosion occurred last night when special team tried to enter the neighborhoods. After a short silence, special team continued to attack the neighborhoods. The clashes which broke out yesterday night have continued.

The Civil Defense Unit (YPS) and Women's Civil Defense Unit (YPS-JIN) have fought back and haven't allowed the special team enters the neighborhoods.

A house was burned on Çağçağ Avenue in state forces attacks. The firefighters went to put out the fire, state forces opened on them. One of fire worker named Hacı Yıldız has been wounded. Hacı Yıldız was taken to Nusaybin State Hospital.

Genocidal attacks have continued in the center of Şırnak. Snipers have been positioned on the high buildings in the Gündoğdu neighborhood where there aren't barricades and trenches.State forces have shelled on houses in the Dicle neighborhood. Fire broke out in some houses. According to reports received from the residents of Dicle neighborhood, snipers have been positioned on the high buildings in neighborhood; mainly on the building of İstiklal Elementary School and a building belong to İdris Demir. Snipers open fire on the citizens whenever they open the curtains and the citizens don't feel safe.
