AMED- Journalist Tuğba Tekerek, who was taken into custody when she was in Diyarbakır Courthouse to follow the first hearing of Beritan Canözer, has been released.

Journalists around Turkey have begun "news vigil" to be in solidarity with journalist who work in Diyarbakır under pressure and attacks. Tuğba Tekerek, among the journalists,came to Diyarbakır to follow the first hearing of Beritan Canözer. She was taken into custody in Diyarbakır Courthouse by police for "taking photos at the courthouse" and she was taken to Yenişehir Police Station. Tuğba has been released after taking her testimony in the police station.
