AMED- A crane carrying concrete slabs to the police station hit a school wall and tore it down. Two children were crushed under the rubble and died. One of two was six-year-old Furkan Öner. Furkan's mother Müzeyyen Öner said, "You killed my small Furkan. Police poured the wall on children on purpose."

A crane carrying concrete slabs to the police station hit a school named Turgut Özal Primary School wall and tore it down in the Ben u Sen neighborhood of Yenişehir, Diyarbakır province. Two children named Ayaz Özdemir (6) and Furkan Öner (6) were crushed under the rubble and died. Furkan's mother Müzeyyen Öner said that police pulled down the wall even if they knew there were children there. Müzeyyen reacted killing of her son by saying, "Police killed our children on purpose. Being Kurds are enough to die and be killed. Being children or adults don't make any difference for them. Enough; get off our back.

"What does Erdoğan want from us? They build police station in schools. Police knew that there were children there. They saw them there. But they tore down the wall directly over the children without warning. My son was small. They ask why children don't go school. Do we send our children to school to be killed?"

After Müzeyyen, one of Furkan's relatives, Şakire Öner began to talk. She said, "They tore down the wall over the children on purpose. We went to there to take Furkan's body, but they didn't allow us. Police opened fire on the people just because they reacted to the incident. Police closed the road with armored vehicles. What do you want from us? Enough."
