İdil women: Our struggle will continue until we have our rights

ŞIRNEX - İdil people have returned to their homes after 24-hour curfew which continued for 44 days. They look their homes which were demolished by state forces. "They demolished our homes by using tanks and mortar, but our struggle will continue until one Kurd left." said the women who sitting in front of their house.
After 44 days of 24-hour curfew in the İdil district of Şırnak, the residents, who had to leave their homes due to curfew, have begun to return their homes. However, the citizens cannot find their houses because almost all houses have been demolished. The citizens said, "There was a house here," State forces demolished the Turgut Özal and Yeni neighborhoods, political party buildings have also been demolished in the neighborhoods.
The graffiti on walls are similar in Cizre, Sur and Silopi. Women reacted to state forces who wrote these graffiti on walls. A armored vehicle passed in front of us. A woman reacted to the vehicle by saying, "They wrote these graffiti. They used the sentences like them." Some of graffiti on the walls read; "This army with you long man", "The soldiers of II. Abdulhamid", "I want to play game", "The power of Turkish".
One citizens, who returned to their homes, said, "They killed a child 13-year-old. They burned our houses."
Fatma Türk is one of the İdil women. She said, "We don't have tanks and mortar. Why does the state attack us with tanks and mortar? We ask our rights and we will fight to the end for your rights. We will never leave our path. If 100 soldiers came with their weapons, they wouldn't defeat me. They came here with their tanks and mortar."
Another woman Esma Tok, meanwhile, said, "Erdoğan demolished my house and my brother's house. I and my husband worked as shepherd for seven years to build our house. However, Erdoğan burned and demolished our house. I asked to the police that why did they demolished my house. All attacked me and insulted on me."
Derya Utkan is also a woman whose house was demolished by state forces. Derya said, "State forces razed my house to the ground. They used my house then they burned it. They killed our children. I hope they experience the same thing we did."
