RIHA - As the people are still going to Amara despite the martial law's practices in Halfeti, the people are celebrating the birthday of the leader of the PKK Abdullah Öcalan in house, where he was born, by shouting slogans and tongue lashings.

The citizens are still going to the Amara village, where the leader of PKK Abdullah Öcalan was born, to celebrate the 67th birthday of Abdullah Öcalan despite the martial law's practices in the Halfeti district of Urfa. The celebration activities are held by slogan "Freedom for Öcalan".The people, including the DTK co-chairs Leyla Güven and Hatip Dicle, the HDP MPs Alican Önlü, Osman Baydemir, Gülser Yıldırım, Mahmut Toğrul, Feleknaz Uca, Behçet Yıldırım, Müslüm Doğan and Dilek Öcalan and administrators of HDP and DBP arrived to Abdullah Öcalan's house.

The citizens shout the slogans such as, "Long live Leader Apo", "The messenger of Peace is in İmralı", "No life without leader" and "Happy Birthday leader Apo" (Apo refer to Abdullah Öcalan)

The celebrations are continuing in Amara.
