QAMİŞLO - Rojava women reacted to the AKP government's attacks on Nusaybin. They said, "We will resist to the end for our streets and lands."

State forces' attacks have continued in the Nusaybin district of Mardin for 22 days under the name of "curfew". Resistance of Nusaybin people has also continued against state forces' attacks. Women, who live in Cizîr Canton of Qamişlo, reacted to the attacks of the state and the AKP government. Women stated that their children cannot sleep due to sound of bombs and gunfire. They said that the attacks cause severe effects on children.

Şindar Hemo, who lives in Hilêliyê, said, "Turkish state attacks Kurdish people brutally one more again. Our children cannot sleep and they are scared due to sound of bombs and gunfire from Nusaybin. A mortar, which fired from Nusaybin, fell in our street. Turkish state must know that we will never take steps backward in resisting. We will continue to resist for our streets and lands. We will protect our country."

Edla Mehmûd, meanwhile, condemns the attacks on Nusaybin. She said, "We live on the border of Nusaybin and Qamişlo. That means the attacks towards Nusaybin is the attacks towards us. No one can walk in the streets and live in their homes freely due to the sound of bombs and gunfire. We are affected by the war, but the most difficult thing for us is the people have been killed by Turkish state in Nusaybin and Bakur. World states keep silence against this savagery. However, we will be in the streets and we will go to the borders for the resistance and struggle of Kurdish people. We hope the war will be ended and the peace will come to these areas again."
