HPC-JIN opens first head office in Hesekê

HESEKÊ - Women's Civilians Defense Forces (HPC-JIN) opens its first head office in Hesekê.
Women, who have had a part in the Civilians' Defense Forces (Hezên Parastına Ciwakê, HPC) since July, 2015, have formed Women's Civilians Defense Forces (HPC-JIN) by creating their first battalion. HPC-JIN has opened its first head office in the Hesekê city of Cizîr Canton. Hesekê Women's Center is in the Kelasê neighborhood of the city. Women gave the name of Hemrîn Heso (nom de guerre Arjîn Mezlûm), an YPJ fighter, who died on August 19, 2014 during clashes in the Ceza town of Girkê Lege. Many women participated in the opening of the center. Bêrîvan Mustefa, the HPC commander, spoke in the opening. Bêrîvan celebrated the 67th birthday of the leader of the PKK Abdullah Öcalan. She said that women broke their chains of slavery thanks to Abdullah Öcalan's ideas.
Bêrîvan emphasized that women have carried out a heroically struggle against gangs in Rojava and women have built a life on the ground of brotherhood of people and common life by taking part in clashes.
Wehîda Mehemed Hesen, mother of Hemrîn Heso (nom de guerre Arjîn Mezlûm), opened the center. Eight Arab and 35 Kurdish women are in the center.
