ADANA - Çilem Doğan killed her husband who repeatedly beat her and tried to force her into prostitution. The second hearinf of Çilem will held tomorrow. Çilem's mother Emine Doğan called on all women to attend Çilem's second hearing.

Çilem Doğan (28) killed her husband Hasan Karabulut, who repeatedly beat her and tried to force her into prostitution, last year on July. Çilem asked, "Why do women always have to be killed?" after being detained. Çiğdem's second hearing will be held tomorrow. Çilem has been jailed pending trial. The indictment asks for aggravated life imprisonment for Çilem. She said in her testimony that she had been repeatedly beat and tried to force into prostitution by her husband. She reported that to the police, however, the police didn't provice security to her.

Çilem's mother Emine Doğan called on all women to attend Çilem's second hearing which will be held tomorrow. Emine said, "My daughter killed to not be killed. She faced to violence every day. Everyone knew that. I hope the court committee will secure the justice by releasing Çilem. She is realy innocent and she must be free. I call on all women to attend the second hearing of Çilem and support her."
