Claim of 12 people executed in Dara!

COLEMERG -Villagers went to the Dara village of Yüksekova on April 11 to stop the erupted clash as human shields. It is claimed that 12 citizens, who were wounded and detained after the clash, were executed by firing squad.

It is claimed that 12 people were killed after the clashes, which had erupted on April 10 and continued last night in the Dara (Turkish name: Beşbulak) Hakkari's Yüksekova district. State forces were blockaded around village with tens of armored vehicles and they bombed the villages by using helicopters, mortar and howitzer fire last night.

According local sources, the heavy clash, which was began by state forces, continued all night. Villagers wanted to be human shields to stop the clash. However, state forces opened fire on them from armored vehicles. State forces went to the village and announced, "No one get out from house or we will shoot you." from armored vehicles.

Meanwhile, a citizen was taken into custody yesterday morning by state forces. According to reports received from the villagers, the citizen was taken to main road where armored vehicles stopped. After a discussion broke out between the commanders of Gendarmerie Special Operation, the villagers heard four gunshots from armored vehicle in which the citizen was held.

The villagers saw 11 people, some of them wounded near the village. According to villagers, 11 people were executed by firing squad. Villagers also said that Turkish Gendarmerie Special Operation (JÖH) members took souvenir photographes in front of dead bodies. JÖH members took the dead bodies to Gever State Hospital by torturing the dead bodies.

Meanwhile, the hospital records confirm that 12 bodies are in the hospital now.
