İSTANBUL - Fadik Adıyaman, who has been imprisoned for being a member of the Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front (DHKP/C), has staged a hunger strike for 75 days to transfer to the prison where her comrades are. Fadik's health condition has been getting worse. Her neighbors and comrades have begun a hunger strike out of prison for Fadik. "Accept Fadik's demands. Don't let her die." said her friends.

Fadik Adıyaman, who has been imprisoned for being a member of the Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front (DHKP/C), has staged a hunger strike for 75 days to transfer from Tekirdağ T Type Prison, where she has been isolated, to the another prison where her comrades are. Thyroid and diabetes patient Fadik's health condition has been getting worse. She is a revolutionary woman who was in the front line of resistance against massacres, urban transformation and assimilation policies on Alevi people. The members of Pir Sultan Abdal Culture Association (PSAKD) in Sarıyer have begun a daily rotating hunger strike for Fadik. Her neighbors and comrades said, "We don't want Fadik to die."

One of the PSAKD administrators Songül Çimen said, "We learned from lawyers of Fadik that Fadik's health condition has been getting worse and she has fainted suddenly due to thyroid. Her health condition can be worse every moment. We couldn't remain insensitive when we heard that. Fadik is our neighbor. We don't want to say "What did we do when our neighbor died?"We don't want our friend die. The state can accept her demands. Her demands must be accepted right away."

Fadik Adıyaman's friend Şeften Boybay, meanwhile, said, "Fadik is called as "Plateau sister" in her neighborhood. When we talk about the resistances of Küçükarmutlu, the first the name of come to mind is Fadik. Fadik tried to solve the problems in the neighborhood. Plateau is my friend and my neighbor. We have begun hunger strike for her. We support her. Don't let Plateau die."
