ŞENGAL - Feleknaz Uca visited Êzidîs, who have took refuge and built a new life on Shengal Mountains after Daesh gangs attacks. Feleknaz got together with Êzidîs in Shengal General Assembly and she said Êzidî women wrote history by fighting against gangs on positions.

The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır MP Feleknaz Uca went to Shengal Mountain located in Federal Kurdistan Region and visited Êzidîs. Feleknaz was welcomed by members of the Coordination of the Êzidî Assembly Zeki Şengali and Şex Xelef. Feleknaz visited Şerfedin Tomb and then Martyr Berxwedan and Martyr Dilgeş Cemeteries. Feleknaz spoke in meeting organized by Shengal General Assembly after her visits. Feleknaz said she is full of joy and feels happy to be in Shengal.

Feleknaz said, "I am very happy to be in Shengal. The mountains around us have witnessed the history of Êzidîs. The people, who live on Shengal Mountains, don't abandon their lands. They prefered to live in tents despite all difficulties, but they haven't left their lands. The history is writing the people, who stay here despite everything. I went to Şerfedin Tomb and then Martyr Berxwedan and Martyr Dilgeş Cemeteries. When I looked the name of martyries, I realized that most of them are from North Kurdistan. Many people, who came from Amed, Van, Batman and Rojhilat to liberate Shengal, fell martyr. The people have fought against Daesh gangs for humanity. These resisters wrote the history of humanity in Middle East. There is a resistance in North Kurdistan, too. The people, who are resisting in the neighborhoods, streets and positions of Kurdistan, shout one slogan; "We'll write the resistance of North Kurdistan" for freedom and togetherness.

"Êzidî people have continued to live here even though it was so painful. We'll rebuild Shengal together. We went to Kobanê when it was liberated. Kobanê was totally demolished. No one believes Kobanê would be liberated. But, Kobanê is liberated. We were in Kobanê yesterday and it has been built. We'll rebuild Shengal, too."
