QAMİŞLO – Clashes have spread many areas after Baas regime forces started to attack Rojava Asayish (Public Security) forces. Three civilians were killed due to mortar fire. Local units of the YPG/YPJ have continued to defend against the regime forces.

Baas regime forces began to attack Rojava Asayish forces and traffic patrols on April 20 in the center of Qamişlo. Clashes erupted between Baas regime forces and Rojava Asayish, local units of the YPG/YPJ forces. The clashes have continued in the town. Regime forces have targeted the civilians in the attacks.

Regime forces attacked Asayish checkpoint in Wehdê Junction yesterday. Rojava Asayish, local units of the YPG/YPJ forces turned the attacks. The clashes have continued in Wehdê Street, near Kelimê Hospital and Sebeh Behred Junction. State forces targeted the civilians by launching mortar. There civilians, including a woman and a child, died and 20 other civilians have been wounded as a result of the attacks.
