ANKARA - The Justice and Development Party (AKP) MPs battered the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) MPs during a session in the parliament. The HDP MPs Ferhat Encü, Ayhan Bilgen and Çağlar Demirel have been slightly injured in the brawl.

The AKP MPs attacked the HDP Şırnak MP Ferhat Encü when he said "Law enforcement officers kill the civilians" during a draft law was discussed to be formed a law enforcement oversight committee in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

As Ahmet Aydın, vice president of the parliament from the AKP, said, "Law enforcement officers don't kill", the AKP MPs attacked the HDP MPs by saying; "Terrorists", "You should be in prison". The HDP MPs Ferhat Encü, Ayhan Bilgen and Çağlar Demirel have been slightly injured in the brawl.

HDP MPs Hüda Kaya and Burcu Özkan Çelik were also assaulted.
