QAMIŞLO – Six public security members died due to Daesh gangs’ members attacked Qamilo and Girê Spî. Six public security members were sent off on an eternal journey.

A suicide attacks was organized on public security point on April 30 in the Korniş neighborhood of Cizîr Canton’s Qamişlo city. Public security members Yihya Kurdî, Ekrem Xalid, Serbest Resûl, Ednan Husên and Ebdulxenî Îbrehîm died in the attack. Meanwhile, a public security member named Mihemed Biro died during resistance against gangs’ members on May 1 in Girê Spî region. The funerals of six public security members were taken to Martyr Delil Saruxan Martyrdom in Qamişlo. Rojava- Northern Syria Democratic Federal System of the Constituent Assembly co-chairs Hediye Yusuf, Mensûr El-Selûm, Rojava Public Security General Administration member Ciwan Îbrehîm, Ayten Ferhad, Kobanê Canton Defence Council president İsmet Şêx Hesen, members of political parties and members of Kongra Star attended the funeral ceremony.

Thousand of people gathered in fron of Mala Gel located in Enteriye neighborhood. They marched to cemetery by shouting slogans. The people kept minute of silence for those who lost their life. Five of public security members were taken to Martyr Delil Saruxan Martyrdom while public security member named Ebdulxenî Îbrehîm was sent to the Dugirê village to be buried.
