İSTANBUL- The contract of Asst. Assoc. Dr. Aslı Vatansever, who has signed the statement titled “We will not be a party to this crime” and academic in Doğuş University, has been cancelled.

Asst. Assoc. Dr. Aslı Vatansever has signed the statement titled “We will not be a party to this crime”. The contract of Asst. Assoc. Dr. Aslı Vatansever has been cancelled by Doğuş University. University stated that, “The academic describes the ongoing struggle against terrorism in the Southeast by the Republic of Turkey as “Massacre”, “Intentional and planned massacre” and “Conscious exile”.”

Doğuş University started a prosecution against two academics those who has signed the statement titled “We will not be a party to this crime” before. The university has suspended Prof. Dr. Serdar Değirmencioğlu from the head of department “a precautionary measure” temporarily; the contract of Asst. Assoc. Dr. Aslı Vatansever has been cancelled by university.
