AMED - A middle-school student named Ü.Z. was subjected to sexual abuse for two and a half years by men. The incident came to light after Ü.Z. talked to school counselling service. Two of five men who are claimed to abuse the child, have been detained.

A middle-school student named Ü.Z. in Diyarbakır was subjected to sexual abuse for two and a half years. The incident came to light after Ü.Z. talked to school counselling service. According to the child’s testimony to police, the child was subjected to sexual abuse by five men, among them are the same age. Ü.Z., who suffered from sexual abuse, stated that five men shot a video and they threatened the child by saying that they would show the video to the child’s family. Ü.Z. first was subjected to sexual abuse by a friend of the child’s brother. This man told that to his friends at school. Sexual abuse became spiral.

According to the testimony of Ü.Z. , Ü.Z. was subjected to sexual abuse by five men named A.Ş., N.D., M.A., R.A., Ş.D.. Two of them named A.Ş. and Ş.D. have been detained.

Ü.Z. has been put under protection. The child doesn’t know the reaction of family when they learn the incident so the child is hesitative.
