WAN- The spring water of Zernebad which comes from Erek Mountain, is one of the natural riches of Kurdistan's lands. The spring water attacks intensive attention of people with the coming of spring. Women, who said the spring water of Zernebad is healthier than bottled water and running water, carry the water with bins to their homes.

As the lands of Kurdistan have natural riches, the people get their share from these riches. Even if the nature of Kurdistan has been tried to destroy with the Hydro Electric Dam (HES) projects, Mother Nature still share its nature with the people. The spring water of Zernebad comes from Erek Mountain located in Van; it has attacked intensive attention of people for years. The people in Van and around the city flow in the area of the spring water of Zernebad after the snow melting with the coming of spring. The citizens, who carry the spring water to their homes with bins, have a picnic in foothills of Erek Mountain accompanied with unique landscapes. The citizens, who commune with nature, explain why they don't prefer the prepared water and running water. Aslı Hacıoğlu (54), who has carried the water of Zernebad to her home for 20 years, said that the spring water is softer and healthier.

Aslı said, "Other water cause stomach disorders. This spring water doesn't cause that. Sometimes, we have to drink the bottled water or running water. However, we don't feel comfortable when we drink them. We like the taste of the spring water of Zernebad."

One another woman, who prefers the water of Zernebad, is 50-year-old Muhteber Gülaçan. Muhteber said that they feel happy when they commune with nature and they carry the spring water to their homes with bins and have a picnic in foothills of Erek Mountain.
