ŞIRNEX/MÊRDÎN - As genocidal attacks have continued in Nusaybin and the center of Şırnak, the people's gardens and fields are set on fire.

The self-government resistance against the genocidal attacks declared under the name of "curfew" on March 14 in Şırnak has entered in the 56th day. Yenimahalle and Bahçelievler neighborhoods were shelled by mortar and howitzer throughout the last night. Violent clashes have continued in the two neighborhoods and İsmetpaşa and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods.

As the attacks have continued in the neighborhoods where are raked nonstop with weapons stationed on armored vehicles, a explosion occurred at around 05.00 am in a building in Bahçelievler neighborhood as the special operations units were entering the building. According to local sources, state forces entered the building to use it as a headquarters, the building was destroyed by YPS/YPS-JIN members and there are special operations units trapped under the rubble. Many ambulances from the Şırnak Army Hospital were dispatched to the area to retrieve the wounded.

Retreating after the explosion, state forces began shelling the neighborhood with howitzers and several houses caught fire. Meanwhile, violent clashes between state forces and the YPS/YPS-JIN members have continued around the neighborhood.

Another points that bombardment has intensified, are the Yeni, Cumhuriyet and İsmetpaşa neighborhoods. Particularly, the Yeni neighborhood has been under shelling for the last two days and clashes in the neighborhoods continue.

There is also an ongoing UAV and helicopter activity over Şırnak's sky.

NUSAYBİN

Self-government resistance has continued in the 57th day in the Nusaybin district of Mardin. As state forces have carried out attacks on neighborhoods of resistance since morning, hundrends of houses and workplaces have been burned. State forces have begun to attack the people's fields also. State forces have burned planted fields and gardens in Nusaybin.

While smoke has covered the sky of district, state forces have continued to shell the district with tanks.
