TIRBESPIYÊ - Female farm workers, who planted vegetables in the agricultural land around the Til Şiîr and Til Cihan villages, said, "We planted the vegetables; we expect a good harvest on October. We'll meet 50% of people's vegetable needs."

According to Agricultural Association, the open markets in the Til Şiîr and Til Cihan villages of Cizîr Canton's Tirbespiyê city, take place on the top. There are many draw wells in two villages where are rich regions for agricultural production. So, farmers can produce vegetables in summer- winter on these lands. The people plant vegetables such as tomato, cucumber, eggplant, beans and lentils and chickpeas. The people purpose is to meet the vegetable needs of people due to embargo imposed on the villages. After the harvest time on October, these vegetables will be sold cheaper in the open markets in the villages.

Til Şiîr female farmers stated that they have to sell the vegetables expensive due to high price of pesticide and fertilizer. However, they can sell them cheaper with the support of the Agriculture Institute by opening markets. Women said that they'll produce more vegetable this year and they'll meet most of vegetable needs.
