RIMÊLAN - Necwa Ebas, whose three children have joined the ranks of the People's Defense Units (YPG) and Women's Protection Units (YPJ), has taken part in civil defense units. "Our hopes are same even if our positions are distant from each other." said Necwa and she stated that she is pround of her children's struggle.
Necwa Ebas is a mother, who sent her three children to the positions of the YPG/YPJ for Rojava Revolution. The struggle of her children keeps her on her feet even if she continues to live under difficult conditions. Necwa said that she was married at a young age by her parents; however, she has managed to found a freedom family against the capitalism and feudalism mindset which regard the children as property. Necwa, who raised her children as fighter not property, has taken a part in civil defense units and she is getting ideological and political education. Necwa said, "The freedom of our country is our freedom."
Necwa stated that she raised her children with great hope and she said, "I am the mother of the YPG and YPJ fighters. In my opinion, defending of your country is the defending your honor. My children are resisting for this now. My daughter Beritan joined the YPJ and my sons Xebat and Mazlum joined the YPG. If I didn't have a small daughter, I would join the YPJ, too. Three of my children have become revolutionists by taking their place in the defence of the country. I don't have property, but my faith and hope are for the wealthiness of my children and lands.
"I also have taken my place in the civil defense units. I am fighting against the system of atrocity. I am getting ideological and political education now. The hopes of my children and mine are same even if our positions are distant from each other. The freedom of our country is our freedom."
