ŞIRNEX - As state forces have attacked the neighborhoods of Şınak with howitzer on the 63rd day of genocidal attacks, the clashes have continued in the town.

Self-government resistance against genocidal attacks has entered in the 63rd day in Şırnak. The clashes that spreaded throughout the city yesterday, continued last night. The city, which has been bombed nonstop for days, passed partly quite last night. However, the bombardment with howitzer and artillery was restarted in the morning again.

As the howitzer attacks have continued in the Bahçelievler, Yeni and Aydınlıkevler neighborhoods, fire broke out in many houses. The neighborhoods have covered with black smoke.

Meanwhile, violent clashes have continued in the İsmetpaşa, Cumhuriyet and Bahçelievler neighborhoods. The most violent clashes have focused on the area of Highway Maintenance Center located between the Yeni and Bahçelievler neighborhoods. State forces have tried to enter the neighborhoods by pulling down the houses. The YPS/YPS-JIN members destroyed an armored digger in the clash zone.

The activity of helicopters and ambulances has continued in the city.
