MÊRDÎN/ŞIRNEX - From the size and shape of the bombs fragments remaining from air attack on Nusaybin; where clashes are ongoing, arouse suspicion that state forces used barrel bombs on the town. Meanwhile, state forces have begun to shell Şırnak with howitzer after the clashes continued during the night.

Clashes have continued nonstop in the Nusaybin district Mardin where self-government resistance has lasted. The clashes intensified in the Abdlkadirpaşa and Yenişehir neighborhoods last night continued until morning. The residents in the Yenişehir Neighborhood claim that the bombs used in the air attacks look like barrel bombs due to their size and shape.

Meanwhile, armored vehicles deployed on the Qamişlo-Nusaybin border line have shelled nonstop the Zeynelabidin and Kışla (Kanika). Fire broke out in many houses due to the shelling.

According to local sources, a watch store in the historic Kaçakçılar Bazaar was pillaged by blowing up the store. Many other stores in the bazaar were blew up and pillaged.

Şırnak resists against the destruction
