MUŞ - Pakizer Karadeniz is in the Muş E Type Prison with her five-year-old son Roni. Pakizer stated that the conditions in the prison are getting worse and she said, "My son cannot grow in these conditions. A child his age should play outside on the playgrounds. Roni watches the world behind the bars.

Pressure, torture and violation of right in prisons are at the highest level along with the genocidal attacks on Kurdistan. As the conditions in prisons are getting worse for the sick and elderly prisoners, five-year-old Roni has to grow up in the prison. Pakizer Karadeniz was a personnel of Ağrı Municipality and she has been jailed for three months on alleged charges of "being member of an organization". She is in the Muş E Type Prison with her son. Pakizer had to took Roni to prison with her due to there isn't anyone who look after Roni. Pakizer told us the condition of prison.

"I am staying with my son here in difficult conditions. The conditions aren't good for Roni." said Pakizer. Pakizer has been sentenced to six year and three months and she is worried about her son Roni now. Pakizer said, "They had arrested me even though there wasn't any evidence on alleged charges of "being member of an organization" and I have been sentenced to six years and three months jail. I had to take my son with me due to there isn't anyone who can look after my son. I have difficulty in these conditions and I don't know how he will live. They try to discourage us; however, we won't be discouraged in this way. All I can think now the health status and psychology of Roni. A child in his age should play outside with his friends. Roni watches the world behind the bars.

Naciye, mother of Pakizer said, "I looked after my grandson for a while. However, I am old and I could look after him anymore. My daughter took her son to prison due to I am old. They both have difficulty in the prison now. Roni is a small child. The adults cannot endure the conditions in prison how can he? I will try to get out my daughter and grandson of there as long as I live. I cannot leave my grandson there. What can a child do in prison? The authorities must do something for the prisoners and children in prisons."
