ŞIRNEX/MÊRDÎN - Self-government resistance has entered in the 67th day in Şırnak where the clashes centered upon three neighborhoods last night.The clashes have centered upon Bahçelievler Neighborhood since morning. Meanwhile, according to official figures, 71 members of Turkish Gendarmerie Special Operation (JÖH) and Police Special Operations (PÖH).have been died in the Nusaybin district of Mardin so far.

Self-government resistance against the state's genocidal attacks has entered in the 67th day in Şırnak. Clashes and bombardment have continued in the city since last night. As heavy weapons stationed on armored vehicles shelled İsmetpaşa, Yeni and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods through the night, violent clashes erupted in the neighborhoods. As the clashes have continued intermittently, several houses in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood were set on fir by state forces. Another point that the clashes have continued intensifying is Bahçeşehir Neighborhood. Howitzers stationed in Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Brigade began shelling the neighborhood at midnight and intense clashes erupted between state forces trying to enter the neighborhood and YPS/YPS-JIN members. The neighborhood has covered in smoke due to ongoing bombing and there are intense clashes around Highways Maintenance Center and the area behind it. Meanwhile, state forces have turned several buildings around the neighborhood into headquarters and it was seen that snipers were stationed on the buildings. As no information has been obtained about the balance of the clashes, many ambulances dispatched to the area transport casualties to the Şırnak Public Hospital and the military hospital set up inside the 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command. Armored vehicle dispatching continues during the nights and UAV and helicopter activity can be seen in urban and rural areas.

NUSAYBİN

As self-government resistance has continued in the Nusaybin district of Mardin under the leadership of the YPS/YPS-JIN, genocidal attacks have entered in the 68th day. According to official figures, 71 members of Turkish Gendarmerie Special Operation (JÖH) and Police Special Operations (PÖH).have been died in the Nusaybin district of Mardin so far.

State forces have burned and demolished the houses of civilians in the town to choke down their rage. State forces pillaged the historic Kaçakçılar Bazaar by setting on fire and broke the doors of houses and seized the thing of value in the houses. The citizens haven't left their homes despite the ongoing attacks on the town. State forces have threatened the citizens by announcing "Surrender". Dozens of citizens have been detained during house raids in the town.

State forces members, who cannot enter the neighborhoods, have begun aerial bombardment the town. The citizens claim that state forces are using barrel bombs to attack the town.

State forces haven't moved even a step for three months. As some PÖH members don't want to join the operations, the members of JÖH have been sent to "dangerous" areas.

As intense clashes have continued in the district, 30 members of the YPS/YPS-JIN have been died in the clashes so far.
