ŞIRNEX - Tents have been set up in Afet Homes located just in front of Şırnak where 24-hour "curfew" has been imposed. The name of life against war is women. The women demand the siege to be lifted on their city.

As 24-hour "curfew" has been imposed in Şırnak for 68 days, the families those who had to leave their homes have continued their struggle for life in tents set up in Afet Homes (an area near Şırnak). The women have another story in each tent. The most difficult thing for the women is bombing of Şırnak just in front of them. The women are building a new life in tents in spite of everything.

It is possible to see the hope of life in the tents. The women, who have continued their life, greet everybody with open arms. The families make a fire in front of each tent. They cook according to needs or they put a pot on fire for hot water. These days, you can feel the summer's heat. One of the most important needs for tent city is water. Şırnak Municipality makes water distribution to the tent city everyday to meet the need of water.

Meanwhile, the children cheer their mothers up with their smiles. The children are growing up by watching Şırnak. The women those who hum with activity for new life said, "We will never leave our lands. They tried to displace us. However, they'll never manage that." The women are looking forward to receive news from Şırnak.
