Amnesty International carries out an investigation in Sur

AMED - John Dalhuisen, Amnesty International's Director for Europe and Central Asia, went into the Diyarbakır's Sur district today.He has shared the destruction and pillage' photos on his social media account and he wrote that, "The wide-angle: Shelled, then bulldozed, then compulsorily purchased. This is called forced displacement."

Amnesty International's Secretary General Salil Shetty, Amnesty International's Director for Europe and Central Asia John Dalhuisen and Amnesty International Turkey Researcher Andrew Gardner held a series of visits in Diyarbakır where genocidal attacks has entered in the 172nd day. The delegation will meet with the Governor, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and Türkan Elçi, wife of Tahir Elçi, the head of Diyarbakır Bar Association.
