WAN - The Democratic Region Party (DBP) Erciş co-chairs Hatice Yıldız and Mustafa Sağlam were detained during house raids in Van's Erciş district in the morning by state forces. After the detention of the co-chairs, state forces conducted raids on the office of the DBP. The state forces seized some documents in the office of the party.

The state forces and judicial pressure has continued nonstop on the elected Kurds in the Erciş district of Van. Political pressures along with the war began in Kurdistan with the order of the AKP are going on with operations and house raids. State forces conducted raids on the DBP Erciş co-chairs houses in the morning. The DBP co-chairs Hatice Yıldız was detained in her house in Latifiye Neighborhood and Mustafa Sağlam was detained in his house in Ekincliler Neighborhood by many special operation members. Then, they conducted raids on the office of the DBP and they seized some documents in the office of the party.

The co-chairs have been held in Erciş District Police Department.
