WAN - Department of Women and Family Services of Van Metropolitan Municipality has founded greenhouses for women. Women those who have begun to plant vegetables in the greenhouses, demand the municipality to spread such projects to every point of the city.

Van Metropolitan Municipality has continued to found greenhouses for women in the city. The municipality brought many families into production with greenhouses already. The municipality has founded a new greenhouse for women at women's request and passed the greenhouse in to women. The greenhouse has been founded with the cooperation of the Department of Women and Family Services and the Department of Agricultural Services of Van Metropolitan Municipality. The women have begun to plant the vegetables in the greenhouse. The Department of Women and Family Services will sell the vegetables grew by women in the bazaars. The income from the sales will be given to women. The women are having training about the production of vegetables in the greenhouse now. Many other greenhouses will be founded in many points of the city center and districts after this pilot study.
