KOBANÊ - Life is reorganized and reliberated by women in Sirîn, a small town was liberated by the YPJ and YPG. Women have taken their part in many areas such as health, education, culture, art and social life. Women stated that they join the life with the power got from the YPJ.
Sirîn is a small town located between Kobanê and Teşrin. The town was occupied by Daesh during the attacks on Kobanê. All people had had to flee from Sirîn due to the atrocity of Daesh. Sirîn people returned to their lands after Teşrin was liberated. Their lands are old lands; however, the wind of revolution has led to changes in their lives that they never could have imagined. Arap women broke the wall of fear with the YPJ along with the liberation of Sirîn. They have taken place in every sphere of life and revolution.
Lbdisal Lebibi is one of Sirîn women those who returned to their town after the town was liberated by the YPJ and YPG. Lbdisal Lebibi is also one of the members of the management of Mala Gel (People's house). She poited out that they didn't have right to take part in such work before and she said, "The women know the life and problems most. Before, we even couldn't go out; however, we are taking part in rebuilding of life. We have opened a people's bakery and we have put the women's hospital project into practice so far. We are doing these with the power got from the YPJ.
Member of management of Mala Gel and teacher Sefa Mahmut Berho said, "Our children couldn't sleep from fear due to the occupation of Daesh. We have returned to our lands recently; however, we have already managed our children to return their games. The women's hospital, which was opened with the Mala Gel's project, is one of the most important steps in Sirîn where women couldn't go out before. Women were forbidden to use the hospital during the period of Daesh. Therefore, many chidren and unborn babies died. So, this new model of life is a hope for the children."
A young woman in Sirîn Emeni Berho educated herself in the hospitals in Qamilo and Kobanê and now she is playing an important role in women service. Emeni gave the best answer to the black propaganda claiming that the Rojava Revolution is a Kurdish revolution and the Arabs were left out of this revolution. She said, "As women, we draw our power from the YPJ and YPG. This power feeds from the philosophy of Abdullah Öcalan and they work for all people without differentiate between them. This power makes us (women) the subject of this new life."
Another woman Ayşê Mihemmed said, "We lived together for years and we'll continue to live together. Daesh gangs occupied our living areas. We had to wear black dresses and we couldn't go out during Daesh time. Now we are free. We see what women can do now. We returned our lands in safe after the YPJ and YPS liberated our lands."
