Revolutionary Women's Monument opened in Xaneqîn

XANEQÎN - The opening of the Revolutionary Women's Monument built by the Kurdistan Free Women's Movement was held with a ceremony.
The opening ceremony of the Revolutionary Women's Monument was held in Zende Cemetery in the Xaneqîn province of Federal Kurdistan Region. The members of the Kurdistan Free Women's Movement (RJAK) and representatives of several paries and organizations attended the opening ceremony. The RJAK made a statement in the opening ceremony. The statement reads, "There was a role and mission of Kurdish women in the liberation struggle of our people. Women played a significant role in the activities in the past. The women have played a significant role in the revolutionary struggle under the leadership of Leader Abdullah Öcalan after the national liberation movement began in Kurdistan Başur (Iraq). Once again, we state that as RJAK, we take sides with resister and combatant women."
After the statement, the Revolutionary Women's Monument was opened with opening ceremony.
