Bombardment continues in Nusaybin

MÊRDÎN - State forces have continued to bombard the Koçera and Newroz neighborhoods of Mardin's Nusaybin district even though the YPS announced that they withdrew their forces from Nusaybin.
24-hour curfew was declared in the Nusaybin district of Mardin on March 14 and the curfew has been imposed on the town for 74 days. State forces have continued to bombard the town even though the YPS and YPS-JIN announced that they withdrew their forces from Nusaybin to protect the civilians in the town. According to reports from citizens in Nusaybin, the neighborhoods have been bombed nonstop for 12 hours since the civilians were evacuated from Elîka (Yenişehir- Dicle) neighborhoods. The citizens stated that state forces have bombed the town with helicopters and a light spread as result of bombardment.
Armored vehicles stationed around Newroz Area, İpekyolu (Silk Road) and Çağçağ Avenue have raked the neighborhoods. Many houses in Koçer and Newroz areas have collapsed due to ongoing bombardment.
State forces have continued to bombard the neighborhoods in Weysîkê area and Koçer Neighborhood. Many houses have become unusable due to the bombardment.
