AMED - Women reacted to the ongoing genocidal attacks on Kurdistan and the bombardment of Roboski and said, "Everyone knows who carry out these attacks and and why. Everyone must rise and utter a word against ongoing massacres."

State forces bombed Roboski village of Şırnak's Uludere district last night within the scope of ongoing genocidal attacks on Kurdistan under the name of "curfew". Turkish Armed Forces (TSK)'s warplanes had bombed the same area on December 28, 2011 and the bombardment left 34 civilians death. 16-year-old Vedat Encü was killed last night during the bombardment last night. Diyarbakır women pointed out that Turkish state hasn't obtained anything with atroctity which it has imposed on the region for years. Women want the bans to be lifted and the massacres to be stoped.

Zilan Ermiş is one of these women and she pointed out that genocidal attacks are carrying out for "single man" and she said, "The people must govern themselves and they must stand behind the resistance of self-government. Turkish state is trying to annihilate Kurds by killing. However, we cannot be annihilated by killing. They will understand that soon. They won't get anything with massacres carried out in Kurdistan. They bombed Roboski again yesterday. Kurds must raise their voice aganst what is going on here. They want to annihilate Kurds; however, they cannot. Everyone knows the offender of the massacres, the offender of death everywhere is well known by everyone."

Melek Karadeniz is another woman in Diyarbakır. Melek pointed out the massacres carried out in Cizre, Sur, Nusaybin and all parts of Kurdistan and she said, "They took our lives and our houses. I will never forget what happened. No one forget their atrocity."

Fatma Çiftçi, meanwhile, said, "They are trying to scare us away with the massacres in Roboski, Cizre and Kurdistan. But, they will fail. All Kurds must rise for the people killed there."
