Support from Rojava women to the campaign 'I don't go anywhere'

QAMIŞLO - Rojava women evaluated the campaign of "Ez naçim" (I don't go anywhere) launched by the Peoples' Unity and Solidarity Bureau (SYPG). Women said, "Protect your lands" by calling on families those who migrated. Women also said that Rojava Revolution has taken several steps to improve the culture of the people. Therefore, the women pointed out the importance of the revolution.

The campaign of "Ez naçim" (I don't go anywhere) has been launched by the Peoples' Unity and Solidarity Bureau (SYPG) against the migration began with the war in Rojava and with the purpose of avoiding assimilation and keeping Kurdish language and culture alive. The campaign has continued to get positive reactions. Native language teacher Şilan Aqim evaluated the campaign. "Our people always complain as "everyone left", "everyone become migrants"" That's why the campaign "Ez naçim" (I don't go anywhere) is so important. Şilan said that everyone should fight the forces and encouraged forces which are against the Rojava Revolution.

Şilan indicated that there are thousands of people those who haven't left their homes and said, "Yeah, many people have migrated from here; however, many people decided to not leave there homes. You can see that the schools are full of students. I feel happy when I see these children. I hope no one leave their country. Only we can arouse this country. We'll arouse this country or we'll allow it to fall down. We must arouse our country with our language; no one will do that for us. I hope my voice will reach everyone and all families."

One of the Tirbespîyê Yekta Herekol Art Academy administrators Gülistan Efrîn called on the people those who left Rojava and migrated to other countries to return their country and protect their country. "We again tell the people those who left their country that turn your country. Come and protect our country, let's join our revolution. We don't leave our lands and we stay here."

One of the Celaded Bedirxan of Cizir Canton administrators Peyman Bêrî, meanwhile, stated that they support the campaign of "Ez naçim" (I don't go anywhere) and she said,"As personnels of Celaded Bedirxan, we support the campaign of "Ez naçim", because this revolution has given us our identity, language, culture and our will. We must protect our culture and language. And this means protecting the revolution. This revolution is for us." Peyman called on people to return their country and build new life together.
