Hêvî Muhammed: Our freedom struggle will win

QAMİSLO - Rojava people began the protest at border to support Nusaybin where the state's attacks continue. As the action has continued, the Kongra Star member Hêvî Muhammed made a speech in the protest and she stated that Kurdish people's freedom struggle will win despite the attacks.

Protest at border, which are held in solidarity of Nusaybin under the leadership of Qamişlo People's Assembly, has continued. The the protests have been organized by People's Assembly of the Qudurbeg Neighborhood and Kongra Star members. The members and administrators of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Kongra Star and People's Assembly attended the activity last night. Favaraz Xelil had first speech in behalf of the Qamişlo People's Assembly in the protest at Nusaybin border. Favaraz Xelil stated that the AKP's war policies against Kurdish people are shameful policies. Favaraz said, "As Rojava people, we condermn the AKP's war policies against Kurdish people. Kurdish people have continued their freedom struggle despite attacks. As Kurdish people, we will make our freedom struggle successful even if Turkish state attacks us with its tanks and bombs."

After the speech of Favaraz Xelil, the Kongra Star member Hêvî Muhammed began to speak. Hêvî noted that Kurdish people have been separated in four parts for years; however, the Kurds have continued their struggle. Hêvî stated that the Rojava Revolution has strengthened with the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's philosophy and she emphasized that the freedom struggle of Kurdish people will win.

After the speeches, the protest continued with halay (folk dance). The people shouted slogans such as "Long live the resistance of Nusaybin", "Long live the resistance of Bakur", and "Long live Leader Apo" and "Long live YPS/YPS-JIN".
