ANKARA - Hanım Yavuzel, the mother the DBP PM member Mehmet Yavuzel, who was killed in Cizre’s basement by state forces, said, “We’ll take our rights from this state by resisting and fighting. We won’t leave our children’s blood on the ground by taking our rights. We’ll win. We’ll leave a free and beautiful world to our children after taking our lands, identity, language and all our rights.

Hanım Yavuzel, the mother of the DBP PM member Mehmet Yavuzel, who was killed in Cizre’s basement by state forces, and Behiye Nayır, mother of Pakize Nayır, who was killed in Silopi, made evaluations about the ongoing massacres to JINHA. Hanım and Behiye stated that their children’s struggle has become a guide for them and said, “Our children are immortal. They don’t die. We will follow our children’s paths.”

Hanım stated that they will never surrender the ongoing massacres and Kurdish people will get vitory by fighting and she said, “We’ll continue our struggle, we’ll resist and we’ll never surrender the ongoing massacres. We’ll resist and we’ll take our rights. We won’t leave our children’s blood on the ground by taking our rights. We’ll leave a free and beautiful world to our children after taking our lands, identity, language and all our rights.”

Hanım stayed strong with a smile on her face everytime. “I have a word to the Kurds who lost their way.” said Hanım and continued to talk by saying, “Let’s all the Kurds be one person. All should find the right way and carry out the struggle. Some of them are trying to get more money or a position. But, we, as oppressed, don’t carry out our struggle for money, benefit or other things. We just carry out the struggle for our lands, identity, and language and for freedom of our children. The people on mountains fight for the people in prisons and those who lost their life. My call to all humanity; I don’t say to Kurds, Alevis, Assyrian and Armenian, I call all humanity. They shouldn’t shut your eyes to these ongoing massacres; whole world should see what is going on here. Everyone should know that; we’ll win by resisting.”

Pakize Nayır’s mother Behiye Nayır, meanwhile, began to talk by saying that he daughter loved her people and liked to carry out struggle for her people. She said, “My daughter was like fire by doing politics. However, brutal enemy didn’t allow her to do politics. We raised our children hard, but the cruel state took them from us. We didn’t raise them for benefit of someone. Everyone is given their rights in Turkey, just the rights of the Kurds are denied. Our children fight for our rights.”

Behiye called on the Kurds and all people under atrocity, “This blockade can be breaken if all people under pressure and atrocity come together. I am also calling on police, soldiers and village guards; this job cannot be done with money, how much you can earn. Turn your face to humanity. Join the struggle of rights and legal remedies. We’ll never give up our struggle. Our children gave their life for this movement and we’ll follow their path.”
