EFRÎN – El Şehba women evaluated operation to liberate North Raqqa launched by Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD). Women emphasized that this operation in particular is a glad tiding for women and said, “As women from all people in Rojava, We should to capture the spirit of unity in the struggle against gangs.”

Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) launched an operation to liberate North Raqqa launched on May 24. We handed our microphone to women about the operation which is welcomed with great joy by Rojava people. The women in El Şehbalı city of Efrîn Canton, where was liberated recently by QSD forces, said that operation in particular is a glad tiding for women.

Hesan Osman: Many villages and hamlets have been liberated after the operation for Raqqa was launched. We hope all Raqqa will be liberated. QSD will liberate Raqqa how they liberated El Şehba. All Rojava people must ucombine our strength for freedom. The AKP doesn’t accept the achievements. Therefore, the AKP attacks the people in the north while it supports gangs. As the people of four parts of Kurdistan, we must have unity and crown our struggle of freedom with victory.

Şîrîn Elo: We were slaves when El Şehba occupied by gangs. However, the QSD came and liberated here. Since then, we have been living in peace. We saw El Şehba was liberated and we’ll see Raqqa be liberated. We are really happy and our path is the QSD’s path.

Selwa Xelîl: We salute the Raqqa operation which was launched under the leadership of a woman commander. This operation in particular is a glad tiding for women. We believe that our resisters will take gangs members out Raqqa. As Arab, Assyrian, Kurd, Turkmen and Syriac people, we’ll fight together against gangs.

Fatma Exlas: The operation to liberate Raqqa is so important and meaningful. The people have lived there under atrocity for many years. I hope Rojava will be liberated from all gangs.

Rîm Qermo: The people of Syria have faced with massacre. Women and children have been abducted and killed by gangs. The killed people shall be avenged with this operation. Paticularly women, we must combine our strength against gangs. All people in Raqqa should support the QSD forces.
