Police torture Nusaybin people by saying 'Welcome to Hell'

MÊRDÎN - Following the staged footage served to the media, state forces tortured the civilians grievously by saying "Welcome to hell".
Civilians evacuated from the Nusaybin district of Mardin were tortured after the staged footage had been shot. According to reports from the evacuees, the civilians were battered and tortured by the Police Special Operations (PÖH) units after they were evacuated from the neighborhoods. In the staged footage, state forces gave the civilians water, cakes and fruit juice. After the staged footage, state forces told the civilians; "Welcome to hell" and started the torture.
The civilians expressed that they were forced to sign statement and they were taken to hospital after the assault of special forces. The civilians faced insults and attacks from the staff in the hospital they were taken to for their health checks. The civilians did not show signs of battery or injury in the footage, except for a few among them. However, the released civilians had fractures in their arms, hands, fingers, legs and skull and their bodies were covered in bruises after the detention. The fingers of a child who is identified by initials H.A. were broken by state forces and the chil faced insults of state forces during detention.
Meanwhile, musician Erkan Benli from the band Koma (group) Sê Bira was tortured in the detetion. His fingers were also broken and he forced to sing the nationalist anthem-song by state forces.
