Slavery ended in Halule village

KOBANÊ - Manbij Military Council has continued its operation against Daesh gangs within the scope of "Operation to Save and Liberate Manbij". The people in Halule village where were under the atrocity of Daesh for two years, are living the joy of freedom.

"Operation to Save and Liberate Manbij" was launched by Manbij Military Council with support of the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) and with aerial support of the International Coalition forces. Many strategic hills and villages have been liberated since the first day of the operation. Manbij is a strategic city which has been under the control of Daesh since 2014. Liberating the city has a determining role to play in taking out Daesh from the region. Manbij city is the first city to resist against Daesh. Daesh gangs' members killed almost 2000 people in the city. The children of Manbij announced that they will liberate their city by organizing themselves in Manbij Military Council.

Manbij Military Council fighters have continued their advance from two directions. The first direction is from southwest of Tişrîn Dam. A 10-kilometer area, including strategic hills, has been liberated from Daesh. Meanwhile, the fighters have liberated Halule village five kilometers away from Tişrîn Dam.

Halule village was controlled by Daesh for two years like Manbij. The fighters gathered the people on one point in order to protect them. According to Halule wpmen, the electiricty was banned in their village for two years. Women and children were banned to go to hospital. Many women and children died in the village in two days. As women prayed to the fighters to protect them from the atrocity of Daesh, children welcomed the fighters with a joy.
