Family saved by YPJ/YPG arrives in Shengal

SHENGAL - An Êzidî family was saved in Raqqa by the Women's Defense Units (YPJ) and People's Defense Units (YPG) forces. The family arrived in Shengal. The family members burst into tears when they came together with their relatives.

The Women's Defense Units (YPJ) and People's Defense Units (YPG) forces launched a special operation to save one mother and her three children in Raqqa. The family arrived in Shengal. The family came together with their relatives in Shengal. The YPJ/YPG forces stated that several family' members are still in the hands of gangs as captive.

The mother, saved from gangs, said that her daughter had been with her grandmother on the day of edict so she got rid of gangs. The mother came together with her daughter after two years. The mother indicated that they experienced great suffering and she called on all forces to save the other captured women. The woman said that gangs' members beat women with electric cables and many Êzidî women hope to be saved from gangs. The woman pointed out that all the world should be mobilized in order to save the captured women.
